Join our fun and encouraging sewing group for kids! Participants will learn both hand and machine sewing. If you have a sewing machine, please bring it along, as it is always best to learn on your own equipment. We also have a few machines available to borrow; please just let us know if you need one.
In this group, we will cover basic sewing machine operations, simple stitching, and how to create fun projects like a boro basket, a tote bag, a hot water bottle, and a bedside buddy. It is a wonderful opportunity to make new friends while developing lifelong skills such as problem-solving, functional math, and patience.
